1. Where exactly is Camping Ibarron located in the Basque Country?
Camping Ibarron is a 3-star campsite located in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, in the heart of the French Basque Country, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department. Ideally situated between the ocean and the mountains, close to Bayonne, our campsite is just 10 km from the beaches of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Bidart, and within easy reach of typical villages such as Ascain, Sare and Espelette. A perfect base for exploring both the Basque Coast and the hinterland.
2. What types of accommodation are available?
We offer a varied range of accommodation to suit all tastes: fully equipped mobile homes (2 or 3 bedrooms, for 4 to 6 people), spacious lodge tents for a nature experience without constraints, and camping pitches with all desired comfort, some with private bathroom facilities, set in a wooded environment.
3. What activities and sights are there around the campsite?
The surroundings are full of gems to discover! You can take the famous little train or hike up to the summit of La Rhune for a more active experience, visit the mysterious caves of Sare, stroll through the colourful lanes of Ascain, Itxassou or Espelette. On the ocean side, the beaches of the Basque Coast offer surfing, swimming and coastal walks. Our guests are unanimous: it’s hard to leave without wanting to come back.

Absolutely! Our family campsite in the Basque Country is designed for the happiness of young and old alike.
